The Rusty Chandelier

One of the great things that happened at The Rusty Chandelier was that Annie Sloan Paints arrived.

These paints come in a wide variety of colors and you don’t need to sand or prime the piece before you paint! The finish can be modified, using dark or clear wax. You can also paint multiple layers for a unique effect. We have all colors, the waxes and brushes. And, we should have classes very soon.

Here’s an example of what this amazing paint can do for an old, ugly piece of furniture as created by One Nutty Girl.

Welcome to the first ever Rusty Chandelier blog post! Mary Jo and Vicki have been wanting for some time to blog, but it has taken some help from friends and some time to get underway. We hope to share some fun and useful ideas with you. Writing out into the world is a bit strange, but exciting. Our retail store in at 770 SE Pioneer Way on Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, Washington.
